Not your mother's heirloom

Quality is just okay. It is not fine furniture. You won't be passing it on to another generation. It has lots of drawers, but no slots, dividers, or other means to separate and keep your small jewery items organized. Organizer trays should be, and certainly could be, an extra cost option since the price of this cabinet is not terribly high. I am not trying to throw stones here, The cabinet looks okay, but should not be confused with "fine" furniture. You need to find your own organizer trays to fit into the drawers, which we have done.

Attractive but poorly constructed, not worth steep price

There are 4 doors on this cabinet and two of them do not open smoothly. It is so difficult to close one of the doors that you must pull up on the handle to get it to close and the black painted leather has been worn down to the white wood within the visible door jamb. A similar situation exists on the cabinet door to the left (worn, wood showing through leather) i must pull up to close. This piece arrived in this condition causing me to suspect it had been returned and resold to me and was not the result of poor handling.
The handle pulls on all of the drawers were not firmly installed and needed tightening.
