Arrived Broken / Poor Construction & Materials

I was very disappointed when my husband and I opened the cardboard box. The armoire's back was hanging off,(the staples had come out). The top of the armoire was completely off,(looks like it was glued),and the side door on the right did not open and shut smoothly due to a bent hinge. I believe the armoire was previously damaged and fixed once before. The front left top corner looks like it has been putty filled and revarnished.

Arrived borken! Poor solution from seller

The upper drawer arrived broken. This was obviously not from the shipping because the broken parts did not exactly matched. Online chat with seller was courteous. After sendinc pictures of the problem by email, the employee offered to exchange the part but that drawer cannot be detached. Then he offered to ask his boss for a discount and came back after I resend emails, with 30 dollars. Only the shipping and handling was 66.50 so I asked for a bigger discount. However their final offer was 50 dollars or exchange it. This I do not understand because it would have cost them 133 dollars round trip to exchange it. Since just to pack the armoire again would have also cost me money, time and energy that I did not have I was forced to accept the final offer. The whole poor solution took almost a week. It also cost me time and money to repair the drawer. Finally the armoire is serving it purpose now and it look good.

SELLING BROKEN ARMOIRES

I did NOT buy my jewelry armoire from this seller.
After reading the 75% negative reviews here on Amazon, I went ahead and bought one on eBay.
When I pulled the top drawer open, the "secret drawer" tried to come open, also.
You also had to force the drawers out from the frame, and they would not open easily or completely.
My husband noticed that the frame inside of the top drawer was cracked!
Since the outside of the frame wasn't damaged, I assume the company is selling seconds or broken furniture to sellers and making profits on unsuspecting buyers!
I would not recommend buying this armoire online due to multiple complaints of defective merchandise.
