Great Quality

The Jewelry Box took a little longer arriving than I expected but we were very pleased with the product. The quality is great. The only thing I did not realize prior to ordering is that there is not a slotted section for rings. Would have been nice to have that addition but overall we were very pleased with this product.

This is even prettier than the picture. It is a beautiful piece of furniture and so well made. Just attach the top and your ready to load it with jewlery. Thank you so much, I'd been looking for one and it was kinda a leap of faith to order it without seeing it but it is awesome. Thank you so much.

Made in China Junk

I read the reviews, looked at pictures, and thought I was buying something truly beautiful. Boy was I wrong. When I unboxed the armoire the right necklace compartment door was not attached. The top hinge had come loose during shipping I suppose. No problem, I thought, stuff happens, so I fixed it and cleaned up the nasty styrofoam packing off the black felt drawer linings. I attached the lid and stood back to look at the finished product. The pull of the first door from the top was mounted one full inch left of center. The top fake drawer was mounted crooked and the drawer slides on three other drawers were not evenly mounted so there are visible gaps between the drawers. I will upload pictures so you can see what poor workmanship/quality control Powell has.
My advice, resist the urge to buy Made in China junk online no matter how good the pictures look and no matter how good the deal is. Go to a brick and mortar store, handle the item and make an educated decision. Hope this helps. My wife will be disappointed in the quality of her Christmas gift and I am disappointed with my purchase. Item will be returned A.S.A.P.
