Beautiful jewelry armoir

Absolutely wonderful. I was looking for a jewelry armoir that had a look that was similiar to our bedroom set. This was definitely the right choice. The armoir looks like a custom piece of furniture! There is an amazing amout of storage. The quality of the wood and the construction of the piece are really good. The inside is completely finished and all of the many compartments are cleanly and completely lined. You have to screw the four feet, the drawer knobs, and the top lid on when it arrives. That was easy to do and only required a screwdriver for the lid. It is well worth the money.

Looks nice as long as you don't look too closely

The box arrived in a reasonable amount of time via standard shipping and it looks nice coming out of it's packaging. Unfortunately, the cheapness of the materials used in construction became apparent quickly when the bottom decorative section fell off as I pulled off the protective styrofoam pieces. The staples and glue holding this thing together couldn't handle the journey to my house.
The box body is solid and the lid, drawers and fixtures seem sturdy enough but the thin back panel was already peeling in one corner and the four screw-in legs were oddly mismatched in color.
It's possible this box was a victim of shipping but I don't think I could recommend it even if it arrived 100% intact. It's just not worth the price.

OVERALL GREAT BUY FOR PRICE I PAID

Nervous to buy and have shipped for fear of damage. Box was damaged but packed very well so no damage from shipping. Ordered 12-18-12 and recd 12-27-12! (was not ordering for xmas) Just unpacked. Knobs need to be tightened and legs screwed on, lid has to be attached. Very easy. Noticed small holes on lid and was upset. Looked at armoire. VERY IMPORTANT-this product is made to look distressed, which is not in the description. There will be small holes on top and sides and other marks/coloration placed on purpose. I do have three small scrapes on inside of lid, one at bottom decoration and couple on back at bottom, that are not part of this. Will need to paint to cover. Also, a 1/4" chip on front corner of fixed drawer under lid. It is very noticeable.This and scrapes are manufacturing/packaging issues. Will paint and will look part of distress but keeps me from 5 stars. Top has 9 compartments. First pull out drawer is all ring rolls! 2nd has 4 large compartments. 10 necklace hooks in ea door. All wood product (solid for major and pressed for minor). Like most, back of armoire and bottom of drawers are thinner. Fully stained and lined. Drawers do not have stops, pull out fully. All holes and pieces as should be on mine and put together sturdy and very well. Overall, beautiful piece, good amt of storage and good buy for the price I purchased at. I have shopped for 5 years comparing online and in stores and this is better or same for others in price range, better than some more expensive.
