Find a mala like this locally if you can...

I wore this for a couple of days upon receiving it, and decided it was too heavy around my neck. As I string beads and make jewelry, I took it apart--and that's where the problems started ! The beads are cheap and many are badly drilled. This means that re-string these beads is difficult or impossible--I had a number of the garnet beads break on me. Additionally, the "turquoise" is actually either howlite dyed blue or turquoise dust and resin. I'm also not sure which stone comprises the green beads--I suspect they may also be dyed.
Malas which are used for more than just "pretty" should 'speak' to a person, and that happens (mostly!) through touching or picking up the item before buying it. that's why I recommend buying something like this locally.
